The Brands, Consumer & New Ventures division (formerly known as Global Brands) provides leadership, focus and expertise to develop BBC Worldwide properties into international multi-format brands.
The business works across brands including Lonely Planet, Dancing with the Stars, Top Gear, BBC Earth and Doctor Who, developing them on an international scale to deliver even higher returns for the company. Through expanding brands into different areas of entertainment - such as live events, theatrical, books and licensed consumer products - the division has grown some of the company's premier brands into international household names, whilst maintaining their original integrity and values.
The team also heads the live events and exhibitions business for the company in the UK and around the world, bringing live acts such as Dancing with the Stars, Walking with Dinosaurs, Top Gear, Doctor Who and In the Night Garden to audiences wherever they are.
